As some of you may know by now or heard of me hint to, I will soon be going to Africa on a mission trip. The date is not quite nailed down, but my intention is to leave as soon as I can get the funding to go. My goal will be to go and work with a missionary couple that I am good friends with Chris and Lindy Thompson. They minister to the people of Nairobi, Kenya. The length of my trip will be for approximately for one month. The reason I am going will be to obedient in my burden to reach youth in the mission field. I am not sure entirely what that is going to look like yet, but if while I am there it is confirmed in my heart that this is where I need to be, then I will come back and look for a way to serve in this area on a full time basis. This is quite possibly one of the biggest leaps of faith I have ever had to take, but the combination of Youth and Missions makes very good sense in the ways that the Lord has prepared me.
